MBSC Spring Sailing

Perth turned on the weather yesterday for pre-season sailing at MBSC. A pleasant day was had on the water. Unfortunately "SS" was the only Sharpie to get wet yesterday, but we had fun spanking the Cherubs and 29ers anyway on an informal double sausage course started from the MBSC jetty.
Jarred Mouldy had his first sail on a Sharpie and while we didn't have more than 10 knots, had a good first day. A few more strings to pull than the Laser he normally sails, but seemed to enjoy himself learning the complexities of the Sharpie.
Fiona, Sarah and Greg came down to enjoy the club atmosphere and did their best to entertain, and succeeded as always.
We hope to see Jarred out on the Sharpie for the rest of the season. One windy day should see him turn from the dark side of sailing.
Big thanks to Mike Liddle for coming down and making the test sail possible.
Cheers,
Poida
